Scientists have put forward a hypothesis that the usual model of building marital obligations will die out and be replaced by a new one. This is the conclusion reached by experts from the Pew Research Center.

By today's accepted standards, people strive for marriage on the principle of "together from beginning to end." But researchers believe that permanent marriage between spouses will become a thing of the past. It will be replaced, they believe, by the “periodically renewed temporary marriage” model.
“The principle of coexistence until death could work when people didn't live that long, or when women needed men for financial security. Now society has already stepped onto a different stage of development,”the experts shared their opinion.
After analyzing the statistics of marriages, they found that in 2013 already 40% of newlyweds remarried - they were married at least once. This circumstance, according to scientists, suggests that people increasingly prefer to live in multiple marriages of limited length.
They believe that renewable marriages are a kind of reaction to social tensions people are experiencing. This form of family life is becoming preferable, since it is more in line with the preferences of men and women today. (READ MORE)
