In Moscow, as of early December 2020, citizens and entrepreneurs sent 436.8 thousand applications to banks for loan restructuring, in the Moscow region - 226.1 thousand applications. This was reported by the press service of the Central Federal District of the Central Federal District of the Bank of Russia.

In total, in the Moscow region, in the period from March 20 to December 2, 2020, citizens applied to creditors for restructuring 639.1 thousand times, more than 98.1% of the applications were considered. The restructuring was carried out for 342.5 thousand applications for the amount of 269.5 billion rubles.
The banking system provided support to the economy through the restructuring of loans: credit holidays within the framework of Law 106-FZ and banks' own programs. From the beginning of the law until December 2, 2020, entrepreneurs of the Moscow region sent 23.9 thousand requests to banks to change payment schedules: 14.8 thousand - in Moscow and 9.1 thousand - in the Moscow region. Of these, 13.8 thousand have already been restructured, their total amount amounted to 259 billion rubles: 214.9 billion rubles in Moscow and 44.1 billion rubles in the Moscow region.
Despite the reduction in the number of applications, until December 31, 2020, the mega-regulator recommended that creditors continue to restructure loans to citizens in difficult life situations and entrepreneurs according to their own programs. And in order to reduce losses from the consequences of the pandemic for business and the population, the Bank of Russia gave regulatory concessions, which reduce the burden on banks' capital. This will additionally support borrowers, as well as allow banks to form the necessary reserves for restructured loans.
