It is worth spending the New Year holidays at home with your family due to the epidemiological situation caused by coronavirus infection. This was announced on Thursday, December 10, by the chief physician of the medical center of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) Alexei Churshin.
According to him, on New Year's Day it is better to limit contacts with people, because the holiday is a family one. For example, the role of Santa Claus can be played by mom or dad. This will reduce the risk of infection from guests and create a warm atmosphere for the celebration.
Also, the specialist urged the townspeople to avoid crowded places. He noted that in playgrounds, central city squares, despite the cool weather, the likelihood of infection increases due to violation of social distancing.
The expert also recalled the need to wear a mask and gloves.
- Thus, my advice remains the same - keep your distance, avoid crowded places, wear a mask and gloves, ventilate the premises more often and carry out wet cleaning. All this will help preserve health and spend the holidays in a warm, family atmosphere, - quotes the doctor city news agency "Moscow".
Earlier, analysts predicted record spending by Russians on New Year's celebrations. It is noted that the share of gifts in the total holiday budget will decrease from 45 to 40 percent, while the share of New Year's treats, on the contrary, will increase from 41 to 44 percent.
